Mi 16V Mountings

Done a search and read many posts but didn't see the answer, When doing the mi 1.9 16v conversion do you use the 205 chassis mounts and mi engine/gearbox mounts, or what?? thank you.

they are the same, so yes you use the 205 / mi16 mounts.

 

you will need some kind of altered or adapted exhaust manifold, or a manifold manufactured specifically for the conversion.

Good old Peugeot were good enough to make the mounting points the same meaning it will bolt to all the existing mounts. Exhaust manifold needs alteration as mentioned. Also the radiator needs to move forward as it's too close to the inlet manifold of the 16v engine.
