Beam Tube Lengths? 309 And 205?

Just wondering, what are the measurements of the two different tubes? 309 should be 10 or 20mm longer?

Sorry to resurrect the age old debate. I have eventually found the answer to the question I asked. I'm still trying to id my old beam. I'm looking at old photos and what I have on the garage floor and I'm thinking 309. 20mm torsion bars, in a red oxide colour.

 

With arms fitted, how long is the 309 beam?

OK, what was sold to me as a 309 beam measures forty five and a half inch,s along the beam and includes the trailing arms and the plates that sit either side. imperial measurement cause im old and that's what I use.
