B Pillar Stone Guard Stickers

Having welded up my B pillar to sill joints I need to replace the painted stone guard strip at the base of the B Pillar before respraying the area.

 

What have people used for this ?

Hi Jez,

 

I masked up the area and gave it several good coats of U-Pol Gravi-guard. On the first application it looks really quite smooth, but after several coats you get that orange peel effect you're looking for.

 

Take care not to put too many coats on too quickly though, it cracks up if you rush it..
