Ma Gearbox Interchangeability?

Ive been offered a gearbox off a 106 gti for my tu1 enigned 205, just double checking it will fit as the 106 engine is iron and tu1 alloy if im correct?

It will fit but the drive shaft seal will leak unless you leave it hanging out slightly, do a search it's been covered before
