Xu 1.9 D6B- Piston To Deck Clearance

Recommended Posts

jimmi

I'm trying to calculate compression ratio....Anyone know what piston deck height clearance is for 1.6 pistons... and for 1.9 pistons (if they are not the same -considering same stroke and bore) ?

Can't answer your question but can say that the pistons are different, 1.9's are domed 1.6's are flat

I checked Haynes manual... no mention of piston to deck height ..only the liner height above block deck... I assume pistons do not go right to top of the liners ??

Compression height for all pistons is 37.12mm. Ie they sit 0.38mm down the bore. 1.6 and DFZ pistons have a 9cc dish. DKZ has 16cc and D6B has 15cc.
