Fog Light Blank - Which Side?

Which side does the foglight blank go as mine has two full fog lights and I want to revert back to OE.

 

Have searched for pictures, of which there are many, but they are not consistently on the same side.

On a UK (RHD) spec car, the rear fog lamp should be on what is our offside (drivers side), the right.

 

On a Phase 1/1.5 model there will be a blank on the nearside, on Phase 2's there is the reverse light there.

 

On a European (LHD) spec car, it will be the other way around, with the fog on the left hand side.
