Probably £150 in bits plus labour, plus £100 or so for skim and pressure test, plus the labour to pull it apart, not sure how long someone would take to do that plus labour charges vary

90 for belt kit, 25 for bolts, 20 for gasket, 15 for coolant, 30 for oil and 5 for oil filter, skim would be near 200 for pressure test if you cant strip head yourself, i would suggest 3 hours to get head off, 1 hour to disassemble, 1 to reassemble and 4 hours to put head back on and time up properly.

Really youre looking at £550 minimum

Book time is 7 1/2 hours for head and another 6 for the head.

But you have all the problems that can arise from the head removal, Snapped head bolts, Corrosion, Stripped block threads etc

It depends on whats found, I have found on one block that is was not flat so when the gasket was replaced it only lasted a short time before it went again, It was a Forum members car who I cannot recall at the moment

So many unknowns. eg what if the head needs welding? Or liner protrusion is bad?
