Modified Manifold For Vts Conversion?

Recommended Posts

danpass15

I am wondering if anyone makes a manifold for vts conversions? I currently have a vts engine fitted in my rallye but the manifold goes underneath the subframe and sits very low to the ground and often gets caught on bumps.

Any help or advice would be much apprechiated.

yes I beleive so, it was the yellow rallye that was for sale on here a while back. (my old car that I have not bought back). Ideally I would like a 1.3 rallye engine but finding it difficult to get hold of one :(

i chopped up a 421 mani i had, maybe a janspeed not sure, basically chopped off about 5 inches from the flange then got un up and over exhaust from the 8v engine and welded it to that, wasn't pretty as im not that great at welding and its all i had to use for material, but done the job ok, the rallye you speak off i think miles on here had that fabricated for maximum flow, i maybe wrong but its proabably easier to leave as it is, the other way is a pain to get right with the linkages ect
