How do the Goetze rings compare to PSA originals? Are there better available?

 

Need some for a standard bottom end rebuild for a mate.

I'd stick to standard. Heard so many issues with sealing on 'performance rings'

goetze are standard federal mogul parts not 'performance rings'

 

shouldn't be a problem but do check the price for o.e parts if available as they often aren't much more if at all.

I'll check the local stealers price on Monday. The only time (10 years ago) I've purchased genuine rings they were about AUD $60/cylinder-gasp!

I use the Geatze rings all the time, Good quality and never had issues with them, You rarely even have to gap them
