Hi there, when I bought my 205, the PO said that it had a 'Peugeot Sport' limited slip diff fitted.

The diff doesn't have any markings on it, and Dan (dcc) said that it looked like his 3J, so can anyone give me some confirmation of what this actually is please? :-)

I believe peugeot sport ones were zf.

That doesn't look like a zf though to me, it's doesn't look like a gripper or tran-x either.

Late post but just for clarity a 3J LSD will have the company logo and part number visible on the main body as show here:

The design looks near as dammit the same as my 3J. I inspected it visually and it seems to be anodized purple. no visual markings for a brand that I could see. I dont think its a 3j as it is much older than when they were first released (I think I have one of the first in the UK)

If it looks like a 3J then its probably a tran-x, purple is their brand colour.
