Miami Blue Track Day Car

Recommended Posts

im seriously thinking about selling my 1990 1.9 gti track day car in Miami blue, the original plan was to convert it back to original and I have collected most bits to do this, it's Basically a 1.9 8valve on bike carbs , custom made loom and dash, roll cage, battery and alloy fuel tank in boot, facet pump etc, road legal with 6 month Mot and a good solid shell, do I sell it as it is or sell it with the bits I have to convert it back, any idea what it's worth? Or is anyone interested at all before I go down the eBay route? Thanks

Put together a for sale advert and post it up with a price you're willing to accept plus a bit on top.

Standard cars are worth more (with exceptions) so if it can be put back easily I'd seriously consider it.

Yes I will do that, it's the age old problem of being worth more in bits though I suppose ,

Sell the none original bits to help ease the outlay you've made on parts, put it together and enjoy

Depends on if you fancy a change or not, i've just done exactly what you're considering with mine, turned it from a caged up stripped out track car back to a fully trimmed road car because it just wasnt getting any use as a track car anymore.

And it was too loud/uncomfortable for day to day. Or maybe im getting old. :P

Pain in the arse getting the cage mounts out :(
