How Much Fluid To Fill A Standard 1.9 Braking System?

Hi,

 

I'm looking in to ordering a few fluids and have got to the brakes. It's a standard 1.9 full disc setup (currently empty) - any body know how much is required to fill the system?

 

I had a flick through haynes but found no answer.

The system holds very little really, but if you are filling from dry you will go through quite a bit whilst bleeding air out of it.

 

I used just over 1 L doing my 1.6 GTI from dry, e.g. all new brake components and hoses. Your 1.9 has twin lines to the rear of the car so I would say order 2L and you will have some to spare.
