Recommend Some Coaxial 6.5" Door Speakers?

Hi all,

 

Need to locate a budget set of 6.5" coaxial car speakers. These are for an unloved car for a relative with one blown OEM speaker, hence not needed components or amp'd. Looking for a set of 6.5" speakers which will run reasonably well on an old ish JVC headunit.

 

Must stress that I'm under no illusions about getting decent sound quality from the HU and not going with components, just that with only one front speaker working, anything will be an upgrade. Will also be an appreciated christmas present! Looking for around £30 (as I said, on a budget!)

At that sort of level I would probably say some Pioneers. Pop in to Halfords and have a look.

I forgot the type which I've bought - but they were £25 for a pair, and are perfect. I'll find out later I guess
