Heard of a mystery one that may exist near Manchester.

Keeping my fingers crossed it's still alive.

You can't kill a Rallye for that let alone any other 205!

Its on eBay now. I've actually seen it and its quite solid . even the front end is solid and under the rear seats . the only bit what looks ropey is where someone has pulled the spare wheel hanger through

If you are worried about what is behind the kit . you might as well buy a new kit and stick it on a good shell

Most of these kits have been on twenty years plus ... Its a question of how far do you go

Oh and I'm still waiting for my plaque from simon its only been 6 months . he does say dimma in Belgium are not up to speed

no V5 isn't a problem, just apply for one.

do a check on the reg first mind.

IIRC it's only £25 to apply for a V5.

I did it for 3 bikes the other year.

Speno, was it you that was bidding/won it on eBay.

I know v5 isn't an issue, but knowing my luck they contact the last owner and he says it's still his.

I've seen inner wing pictures from behind the rear quarter panels. It looks ok.

Only bit of question is the inner arch behind the passenger headlight.

As I've said, I don't want to do up a none original dimma. It just wouldn't be the same.

Did dimma do brake lights in the roof spoiler?

Willis

Trouble would be finding a good engine, at least I know this one.

Rallye wouldn't die completely. Would probably go under a sheet at the farm.

Yup i won it on ebay then the guy wouldn't sell me it ( i had a client lined up for it )

again brake light in the spoiler not an original thing ( i think )but it could have been added afterwards

it was covered in crap when i looked at it but i could see the major areas

Think you will better off just buying a kit and doing it that way

I know where there is another sat on a driveway but that again wants loads of work but its got the correct wheels but is rotten he says he has been offered £2500 for it but he wants more , personally i think that is just a copy kit too

Also a chap on here has about 6 or so but he is wanted good money for them all and i think most of them will need work by the sounds of things

Its a hard thing to put a price on one

rebuilding one i think will cost the best part of near 7-10 grand, depends if you have to buy a new kit and what parts you are going for (oh and how much you can purchase one for )

In fact its quite hard to put a price on the rebuild until you know about the shell , kit ,wheels etc

one thing to remember you cannot buy a complete original kit anymore unless you get dimma to build it for you.
