Cti Passanger Door Window Lapping On To Roof

Recommended Posts

ALEX

What do I need to adjust to stop this from happening.

At the moment I'm having to roll the passanger side window down then back up every time I open the door. (I'll try and get a photo up.).

Is the adjustment in the roof frame slots to the body IIRC they are fully down as I was trying not to rip the roof fabric making the reach to the front as short as possible. The fabric has now streached since fitting it so I could probably raise the roof up on the slots now.

Or is adjustment on the window? I think I remember seeing a adjustment screw behind the door card but I wasn't sure what it was for.

There's should be an adjusting bolt on the window Mech itself. Limits the upward travel on the arm that lifts the window.......if you have convertible mechanism and not modified normal ones

Couldnt find the adjusting bolt, but there Is a screw that does naff all, adjusts the pressure of a plastic block on the bottom of the window.

cant seem to work out what its for?

I jacked the roof on the slots about half inch, its just missing the window so happy for now.
