How Much For A 1.4 Xs Twin Choke Solex Inlet Manifold?

hi, I just need a bit of advice on the price of a twin choke solex inlet manifold, how much do they usually sell for?

Worthless without a carb, I'd pay £15-£20 if I was desperate for one.

really? thought it might be worth a bit more, the funny thing is some guy tried to sell me one for £350 a while ago and he said I wouldn't find one for cheaper so I just laughed and told him to jog on haha.

The only people who will want it is an xs/axgt owner looking for a replacement but it can't be seen working so is an unknown.

Somebody wanting to upgrade a 1.1 but I've not seen anyone do this in a long time!

 

If it is an inlet and carb on a good day you could get £70 on eBay - selling fees

Nothing massively special about them. Came on all phase 1.5 onwards XS's, rallyes (UK), AX GT's, XT's, GT's and prob more!

 

£350 is hilarious! What a joker.

£350 would get you a brand new one I'd imagine, if you can find one.

fair enough I just remember when I was after one people where offering stupid prices for them, and the carb the guy offered me was just a reconditioned one not even brand new.

Yep - Solex Z2 32-32, same as the XR etc.

 

XS and AX GT had the Z2 32-34.

 

The numbers being the diameter of the primary and secondary venturies.
