Gates - Does Anyone Here Know A Rep Or Deal With Direct?

Hi all,

 

I've done a lot of digging around for the cheapest way to delete the aircon from the '6 engine and keep the PAS; and ive discovered Gates do a 'Rallye' kit which is obviously the one for the job. But, i cant find anywhere that stocks it, does anyone have any contacts that might be able to source a few? it would certainly help out a few members with '6 conversions who want to keep the PAS.

Have seen this kit on ebay recently , around £100 I think .

It's not a Rallye kit at all, 406's and no doubt a fair few Citroen's used it too, I have it listed but as with everything prices have gone up again, All motor factors sell them, well the 5 I have locally do

I have everything needed, Its all only done 300-400 miles from new.

 

I have decided to delete my PAS system.

I know its not a Rallye kit, that just seemed to be the best description i came up with

 

Its fitted to all manner of things, and when you start looking at the tensioner and roller individually it opens up again, Alfa's, Citroens all sorts of cars are fitted with one or the other.

 

I've got pages of cross referenced part numbers for the various bits so am just in the process of finding the cheapest supplier/setup, i just wondered if anyone had any contacts at Gates we could get a better price if a few people were interested.
