How Have You Mounted Your Xsara Power Steering Reservoir?

Hi all,

 

Started the VTS rack conversion now, but wondered how you guys have mounted the reservoir. I thought the pump was gravity fed, but I don't think the bottle can go high enough without fouling the bonnet...

 

Now there's enough cars running this setup fine so I guess the pump must pull fluid in from the reservoir?

 

If anyone has any pics of how they mounted it and whatever bracketry they devised it'd be a great help!

I used the VTS reservior mounted on the inner wing were the jack would normally go.

Yeah that seems to be how most do it, does it feed the pump ok? Don't suppose you've got any pics have you?

I have done about a 1000 miles with no problems yet.

So did you remove the jack boss? How does that top attachment point work?

Yes I removed the jack boss, the rear mount is a strip of steel shaped and bolted to the inner wing.
