New 205Gti - Artists Impression

Recommended Posts

dobboy

Found this image a while ago and lost where i found it.

Can't understand the lingo, but i take it it's an enthusiasts artist impression of what a new 205 could look like.

Maybe you've seen it before.

It reminded me of an Audi A1.

I quite like it

Needs a new rear beam, lots of positive camber in the first pic. :P

Quite like that! Would love it if Pug completely reissued the 205 GTI and made it to original spec looks and design wise with a few extras, like Rover did with the Mini. Oh well, we can dream.

Too much going on with the front end/grills, looks like its got a fat lip, a gumshield and a brace.

If you removed the "peugeot" and "205" you would all think it was awful. It's hideous.

I dinnae like that at all. From the front it looks like a dogs dinner. Nice to see some key 205 design elements in it, but as a whole it doesn't gel. It probably wouldn't pass modern pedestrian safety legislation either as the front end looks similar in proportions to a 205.

TBH as a modern design, the 208 is a much nicer shape even if it's not a reinvention of the 205 like the above(as you would hope given it's been professionally designed rather than being an enthusiasts artistic impression).
