It's under the dash on the drivers side - white relay looking item about an inch cubed, to the left of the steering column.

That said, it's only present on Phase 2 cars from memory, which wouldn't be until late 1990.

Cheers Anthony - yeah Phase 2 - although think they put a few bits from phase 1 in her as well as some parts are really difficult to get right? HT leads being 1 of them.

Have you got power to the bulb when they are turned on? I am afraid its a case of getting the multimeter out and checking through it all bit by bit. I.e have you got power at the bulb when they are turned on. If yes then you have got problems with the earthing side or the bulbs, if no then there is problems with the supply side.

Work your way through it all. It could just be a poor connection or a dodgey earth. Clean it all up and test it out. Your get there. Have you checked the fuse?

yeah all fuses are fine, its just the fact that warning buzzer and sidelights both stopped at the same time? so did not know if they are connected on the same relay or something?

Im sure they will be connected somehow because the warning buzzer will probably work on the side lights as they are the first light to come on with the switch and they stay on.
