Plumbob 66 1 Cars Posted November 3, 2014 Did you ever find one? All I can get hold of is a 225mm one which doesn't fit.. Thankfully Eurocarparts kindly gave me a refund despite the fact its been sat in my loft for a year. Can anyone confirm if a servo from a 106 would fit? HERMAN 33 Posted November 3, 2014 I have 1 off a 1.9 that you can have for the cost of posting?
Plumbob 66 1 Cars Posted November 3, 2014 (edited) I'll let erbs have first dibs on that. I do have an old one which looks pretty manky which I could use. I just wanted a new one as all the other major parts will be new and as its a pig of a job to change the thing I wanted a new one. Thankyou very much for the offer though. Miles 331 1 Cars Posted November 3, 2014 The larger ones do fit with some slight modification, did it for the same reason as the rest of the engine bay was mint and didn;t want a old rusty servo on there
Plumbob 66 1 Cars Posted November 3, 2014 I'm not sure I'd have got it into mine, perhaps if I'd started butchering the pedal box I could have got it lower and under the scuttle. What put me off doing that was that just going to push it closer to the engine (GTI-6) and as far as I can tell that isn't such a good idea! I've called several motor factors and my local Peugeot dealer and none of them can supply a 200mm one... surely there must be a replacement one from a different car? PS... I saw your old Gentry tonight! picked up some bits from the owner...
dobboy 231 2 Cars Posted November 4, 2014 Do any of you know/think that they could be wrapped to make them look a bit better?

dobboy 231 2 Cars Posted November 4, 2014 WP, i painted mines but the remains of a historic brake fluid leak acted like nitro morse and has peeled the paint below where the MC connects to.
