No idea what the insurance situation is all about. Whether he's fecked up and not adequately covered it or whether there's some sort of limitation within their legislation over there, but seems odd that he's not covered for his property being destroyed by arson committed by another party, even though he has insurance against fire damage

Looks like he got sacked from his job a couple of weeks later too! Poor guy.

 

There must be more than is mentioned on that site though with regards the insurance, unless things work very differently in Germany.

Makes you realise that UK insurance is relatively straightforward by comparison. You're covered, end of.
