Wipers Not Parking.

My 205 is almost ready for its MOT. The only issue I have is the wipers don't park themselves after I switch them off. Is the parking of the wipers just controlled by the blue relay in the fuse box or is there something else that could be causing the issue?

Most likely wiring/dirty contacts, possibly the relay but I doubt it as it still works.

 

Could also be the contacts in the motor itself, undo the 4 7mm nuts holding the cover on and check the three strips attached to it and clean the surface on the top of the spindle drive wheel.

Turns out it was the blue relay. I now have self parking wipers again

 

 

Although they are a bit slow so a bit more investigating is still needed.
