Any particular type that should be used, or will normal fuel hose do the job?

Yep, works fine. Or you can buy some special hose from a hose speciallist.

Not had experience of PAS on the 205 but from past experience I'd go for normal steel braided hose. I once used nylon braided hose which was rated to a slightly higher pressure than the pump...until it popped and the oil went all over the car park where I lived.
