What wiring loom does an xs have and I have the dash but the plugs are different for the normal ones and I could do with a rev counter!

Xs clocks need the xs loom, it all just plugs in,

The 205 Rallye had base model clocks with a rev counter instead of a clock, the looms are similar but it's still easier to swap the loom

Gti clocks are doable but a lot more involved, try searching it's been covered loads, you'll get oil temp and pressure gauges too

The loom goes from the clocks to the hazard/fog/heated window switches faglighter/clock then into the main fuse board in the glove box

Xs clocks - xs loom

Gti clocks - gti loom (needs a few wires swapping/adding)

Xs and gti clocks are a lot more different than you think, looms are different and plug order and type of dials

Xs doesn't have oil temp or pressure gauge
