Air Filter To Manifold Bolts?

Trying to fit an original air filter can to my 1.9 GTI and assumed the bolts into the manifold were M6. They appear to be slightly bigger, but not M8. Surely Pug didn't make them M7.....?

I wouldn't be surprised, there are a lot of M7s on 205s.

Good luck, we are building a 2cv and m7 is used everywhere. Order online, not as common as you might think.

It depends on the exhaust manifold. Some of them are M6, I've done two recently that both were.

Looking again at the manifold its cracked on branch 4, so it'll have to be replaced or welded anyway.

Just done mine. And they were M7. My branch was cracked too so got it welded. Was the later braced type too!
