I was going to post an entry in the "Silly things that annoy you" forum.

 

"Crimp connectors"

 

I've been struggling to identify the part number for the female connector I need for the tailgate central locking servo - it's a two pin plug. I want to preserve the OEM plug fitting

 

Does anybody happen to know? - it's a bit hit and miss ordering from Peugeot and could get costly to buy the wrong things

The biggest problem with buying the parts is that Peugeot don't sell them individually. The terminals come in bags of 10 or 20, and the plastic housings in bags of 4 or 5. At 40-80p per terminal, and a couple of quid each for the housings the price can quickly add up, and it's probably not worth paying £20+ when you only need to repair one connector. The plastic housings are reusable if you already have a connector and just want to replace corroded terminals though.

Yes thanks Ryan. Using your info I've managed to get the female crimps I needed today and was able to refit my tailgate with fixed wiring and now a working tailgate c/l servo. It's been on the to do list for 10 months and today I got it all back together and working nicely.
