Door Trim Removed....

When you take the door trims off a gti, is there holes left along the doors and quarter panel?

There will be holes around the arch itself, but the horizontal bits are secured with clips over rivets and thus you'll be left with rivets stuck out if you remove the trim.

all the holes should have rivets in

 

 

the lower rivets hold these clips

 

 

the upper clips are used like this, which are used to secure the red trim

I'm planning on stripping all the trim off and getting some fibreglass arches but can't be messing around with filling holes in doors and paint etc....

holes will be there, if not covered with trim and the rivets are removed.
