Map Reading Light Bulb Help ?

Does anyone know what type of bulb is in the map reading light ? It looks like a twist in dash bulb but has a large bulb instead of small type like in the dash ?

I always thought it was a "festoon" type bulb in the map light?

Not sure what that is but it's a bulb I've never seen before ? I can take a pic if it helps ?

Measured my map bulb last night to replace it with a white led one. It's a 37mm festoon type bulb.

Are they the same for number plate, boot light and glove size box bulbs?

 

Or is that going too chavy?

Might be a 501 if its been changed to a later unit, same bulb as the sidelights

Nope not a 501 I know what they are and I've left in the car at work so will put up a pic tomorrow

It was infact a 501 bulb in a twist in bulb holder
