Pas Pressure And Joining Of High-Pressure Pipe?

Recommended Posts

B1ack_Mi16

Does anyone know the pressure output from the PAS pumps on the pugs?

I assume it's more or less the same over the 205,309,405 range etc.?

I will need to make a joint between two free pipe ends as I had to partly make the pipe myself on the T16, and wonder how much pressure it is, and how to actually make a good joint.

I was thinking of just buying pipe-nuts and flaring the ends. And then just joint it up with a coupler, (female-female metal piece type).

Any ideas welcome.

I turn up a sleeve, with a step in the middle, and then silver solder.

Which pipe is it? The high pressure one is the one that goes down to the previous radiator then beside the battery and beside the turbo to the rack.

I have connected part of this with brass water press connections which work fine.

The section from under the battery to the rack contains a non return valve. I bought a standard 405 pipe from e-bay with the valve and very carefully bent it to fit

I often use hydraulic compression fittings on the solid high pressure pipes, never had a problem.
