Puting Power To Ground ?

My 205 has started puting power to ground all dash light come on wipers going it turns over but no start any ideas

Start pulling fuses to see what circuit is affected. I would think if you have a circuit to ground it would blow a fuse first.

Not quite sure what you mean but weird electrical problems are often caused by dodgy earths. Check/clean the earthing connectors before doing anything else.

When I put a multi meter - to the battery earth and the + to the body it shows 12v and if I remove the earthing points of the turret it sparks

Start pulling fuses then to see which circuit is causing the power to ground. I would check your cables from the battery to altenator and starter too, as one of these may have chaffed. Is the car running?

May sound like a silly question, but is the battery on correctly?

Problem all sorted an earth wire was showing to much resistance
