Would You Accept This From Ecp?

Recommended Posts

Hi Guys,

Just took delivery of a heater matrix from ECP, opened the box and it looked like this:

Matrix.jpg

Is that acceptable for a heater matrix?

Thanks

John

I had one that turned up like that too, was it the packaging where it's a flimsy box that lets the matrix just bounce around in there? The one I had still worked but it's an eyesore, isn't it!

Good news.

It's a little known fact but you can actually return anything you buy online/mail order within 7 days of receiving without question. You would however have to pay for the shipping costs back to them.

By the sheer fact it's arrived damaged then they should pay for this, regardless of what their T&C's are.

Well, that's double the price... and OE is important to a lot of people.... perfect example is my pug engine bay, Bosch everywhere... only thing that failed recently was the French Ducillier ignition amp (125,00mls) not bad.... replaced it with the Bosch amp from a 185,000 miles GTi, running sweet, you pay for what you get, pal, I'd rather buy used OE than new patterned crap ;)

Didn't it increase to 14 calendar days last month?

15 quid extra for new pipes and o rings etc, not much to pay.

All the wee extras being NFP individually

I think you're right, I'm always in the past, hence why I own a 205 :-)

You need to revise your listing for "early style" rear lights ;)

They're earlier than mines? ))) tell me what they are then, please)

You saved that up and could have said... well, £15 is a fair price for those on a tight budget :D

The photo shows late phase 2 lights, September 1990 onwards. They might not have been original fitment on your car.

Your listing is for ph2 lights. The earlier cars have the reverse within them, and an orange section of lens for the indicator.

I would have spent 5 mins straightening those fins then fitted it. There's a good chance you'd catch a couple of fins when fitting it anyway. Plus I am impatient so would rather finish the job there and then than wait for another or have to travel to the shop for a replacement.
