Ignoring the price it looks nice, like a lot of 'restored' cars it may be a different matter when you see it in the flesh.

Exhaust looks bloody awful!

Always makes me think when they say a well know company, if they where that good I'd say who it was and have the normal items been rebuilt

There are no pictures of the passenger side. I know of the dealer. I have never see It on the front when I have driven past. They don't do the older vehicles. But I will happily take a look find out what has and hasn't been done. It does look nice. Is it a genuine ltd addition Miami?

Nope it's a phase 2 Miami, certainly not a limited edition.

The fact it's at a dealers that doesn't deal in classics says to me that it might not be all that good. Go have a look ;)

Is it me or the grill bowed ? looks like the engine bay has been sprayed ( no stickers )

Different colour water pipes ( you would think it should have been a set )

You really cant go by pictures , looks quite tidy and the seats as well

but hefty price tag , when i sell my miami i want £3000 ish for that

Grille looks like typical Mi conversion, the fan cowl which supports the centre of the grille has been hacked up to clear the inlet manifold, so now the grille doesn't fit properly hence is sagging in the middle.

It looks tidy enough from the pictures but as said you'd need to go for a thorough look round, and no mention of any beam rebuild either. I'm sure it has been on eBay a while and was priced at over £10k to begin with.

A dealer trying his look no doubt. They've seen cars advertised for big bucks and are putting theirs in the same category. Why pay that for a modified Pug when theres one on here for circa 5k?

Hey Guys.

Just a heads up. This car has come up on Gumtree searches Ive done here in OZ. There was also a phone number that was called and empty promises met etc etc.

Perhaps the car photo ( Photos are definitely in the UK ) was used as a scam over here for a fake advertisement.

Regards Cam

It's been up for sale for ages that 205. Was £10k at one point. Looks well enough, not sure it's worth it though...

Nice but not worth that sort of money. The only people willing to buy them for silly money (like those above 12 grand) would more than likely want it absolutely stock, including the engine, and practically factory fresh. That's what I would've thought anyway.

The most likely reason it hasn't sold is that he's overpriced it but is sticking to his guns because he's got it into his head that it's worth that. If I had more than enough money to shell out on one I still wouldn't pay more than £4,000 for it.

That's been on Pistonheads for many months. I'm sure there was another thread about it on this forum with someone viewing it.
