Painting New Door Check Straps.

Hello, just bought x2 genuine door check straps. Anyone from experience had any issues with the paint wearing off after a amount of time. Just wondering how you guys done this or if there's any point. Thanks Danny

I got mine plated

I left mine how they came.

 

Not a drop rust on them after 3 years

Yellow passivated to match all the other metal parts, should cost no more than £10-15. I have a pic I'll dig it out and post tomorrow.
