oonip 4 Posted July 8, 2014 I'm stumped. Anybody have any suggestions as to why I have two permanent lives and no switched live on my red connector for the stereo? Fuel pump primes when the ignition is turned so I'm guessing the problem is not the barrel?
jackherer 543 Posted July 8, 2014 IIRC there is a connector on the fusebox that has two possible positions, one switches the stereo with the ignition and one doesn't, it was something a dealer could 'configure' if an owner requested it.
welshpug 1,646 Posted July 8, 2014 yup, IIRC its a thick blue wire, or blue plug fairly central on the fuseboard, there's two slots and its a single spade, I think one slot is marked AC+ and the other +
oonip 4 Posted July 8, 2014 Awesome thanks guys. Now to trace the dodgy wiring that causes it to power off randomly...
