Central Locking..just Checking Not Missing Something

I have a 1989 P1.5. In the drivers door is the central locking control module (grey) and an actuator (black).

 

When I stripped the car it had an old alarm system installed, I am therefore assuming that the actuator in the drivers door was for the alarm to remotely open the car, as I understand it the drivers door is not actuated by any other doors/tailgate.

 

Just wanted to check I'm right before I strip out the actuator and wiring..

That's correct - should just be the grey one in the drivers door on a phase 1.5 for standard central locking
