Radiator Set Up With Throttle Bodies On Gti6

I'm looking for radiator ideas for my 205 gti6 with jenvey throttle bodies.

 

I have seen someone use a civic ally rad to one side to give the trumpets room to breath but cant find who it was or any more pics, this is the route i wanted to use as it looked pretty smart and gave enough room for an oil cooler without loading everything in front of one an another.

 

i then though about lowering the rad by making up a new lower cross member to hold it, but didn't want it to look a bodge.

 

What have people done and do you have any pics?

What do you do about power steering (on a gti6 lump) with this set up? Presumably the pump has to be moved with throttle bodies? Will the pump fit where the a/c compressor was originally fitted on these engines, with one of Tom's brackets, for instance?

I used to run a Renault 5 rad which was to one side.

yes that was the one! looks pretty awesome!

It was 50mm thick so it cooled it perfect. I changed back to a Nissens 205 rad when I changed to dry sump.

I have a shortened rad that has a hole behind the thermostatic rad switch boss. It requires the tank being removed and welded. I may be persuaded to sell it cheap if you're interested.
