Gear Knobs, Which Do You Prefer

I have 2 gearknobs here and am undicided on which to fit to my car, one is the flat type with the numbers flush, the other is the one with the sunken numbers in red

The smooth badge type is 1.9, the recessed letters 1.6.

It depends on the engine and on the production year. Early models had recessed letters while from MY89 onwards (I think) all were smooth.

I personally prefer the smooth 1.9 ones. There are too many base model knobs that have been painted to look like the 1.6 recessed gear knobs.
