Wasn't this the same company selling a black one for £15Kish?

Still, I suppose they will always appear in the ads for these type of prices. Wonder what they are actually selling for though.

For those with that type of disposable cash and a hankering for a gti, I dare say it'll sell....

My next door neighbor was the F1 mechanic that sold this! Just told him about it - must be gutted!

I'm guessing the other one sold otherwise they wouldn't be trying to sell another.

Whats the big deal classic cars are going up in value and any way they are only worth what some one is prepared to pay!

Agree entirely mate, I just find it interesting to see these type of examples and I always wonder if they sell at that type of price and who the new owners are.

It would also be interesting to find out just how good the car is and how restored it is etc - quite often a dealers version of 'restored' is very much different to the proper jobs being done by people like Anthony on here! An example is that miami blue for sale in Harrogate by Bespoke cars before - garage boss and owner couldn't even tell me if the beam had been done and said "what rear beam" yet it was advertised as fully mint etc.

Same here, add a sunroof and remove the power steering though ;)

Identical to my red J reg 1.9 I sold five years ago....regretted it ever since.

I don't follow why you want to cut a mahoosive hole in the roof of a stunning 205! :o

Sunroof or no sunroof (which I don't think makes a blind bit of difference unless you enjoy rallying and rolling your cars) it's a very nice looking pug and it wouldn't surprise me if it makes close to the asking price in that condition and with that mileage.

If I had the choice, I'd go for a sunroof every time.

For a road car you can't beat a 205 vacuum sunroof.

I agree...better with a sunroof IMO. I never understand why a non sunny is more desirable...apart from track/rally.

:DI've had em both and much prefer with a sunny. Especially when all my time in mine will be in good weather.

Had both, like the sunroof on my 309, love my non sunroof 205. Just looks nicer IMO.
