I'm stuck in work for this, gutted! It sounds like a great weekend that I haven't managed to get to yet, anyone going in their 205?

I'm going to the FoS, so looking forward to see if Peugeot will have a 205 display there. What with that and the Maserati Centenary, should be quite a show!

I'm going too, not in the 205 sadly as the 306 is taking a little longer to sort out than I planned. Got Grandstand seats on the Saturday for my son and I.

Been a few years since I last went and really looking forward to it!

I'm going again this year. The misses gets free weekend tickets through her work thankfully!

Will probably take the 205, but I don't like the idea of letting it sit in the crappy traffic on a hot day!

That turbo technics guy always posts a lot of bum info on those discussions on piston heads. I know a few here know him but I believe he's maybe been out of the scene a bit.

Thousands on the roads... Parts easily available... Build one from scratch for less. Must be talking about another car.

Get there early and leave late, never had traffic!

The best route is to leave the A27 following signs for Emsworth, and then take the B2147 to Funtingdon and then on to Goodwood arriving into the show from the quieter North route rather than the very busy Southern access roads.

This takes at least 30 minutes off the route and goes though some nice roads.

Teknopug (Andrew) sold his TT years ago. Must be a good 5 years ago IIRC. Whether he still keeps tabs on the scene, who knows. But from his comment I suspect he's well out of touch and being rather naive. Or he's being deliberately inflammatory :D

He'll get no rise out of people on ph. They're used to everyone acting like a d*ck on that site.

If he did actually give away almost a full car in parts recently as stated in the comments then he clearly doesn't have eBay on his planet either.

He did, it was in the For Sale section on here and AFAIK went to members on here :)

I'm going to the FoS on Saturday, won't be taking the 205 as I'm dropping if off at Pug Racing. However I will be taking a tuned Morgan Roadster, quite happy with that :D
