i don't ever remember pulling them off the coil,what do the wires feed?

Negative - both of them, one is from the amp and the other goes to the tachy relay and rev counter

i checked the coil and they have both blue spade connectors on there already plus they are too short to reach the coil, baffled now???

 

they look important but can't see anyway close to the engine where they go?
