205 1.1 Keep Pushing Driveshaft Out Of Box

I have a 96 205 1.1 completly standard and all of a sudden the driveshaft fell out of the box (the longer shaft) so i took the shaft out to ispect why it had done it ie seized inner join, bearing carrier not tight, but after checking all this everything seems to be fine i cannot get my head around this so any help is much sppreciated, cheers james

^this, check engine to box bolts are all there and tight.

Is it the correct shaft? Are the intermediate bearing L bolts in place?

yeh it seems to be the correct shaft mate and all the bolts are very tight, Cheers James

If the intermediate bearing is locked in place and the bearing housing is tight to the engine block either

 

The gearbox has come away from the engine

 

The intermediate bearing has given up

 

The driveshaft has broken

 

No other options :)
