Wishbone Bush Dimensions? Anyone Able To Measure One For Me?

Recommended Posts

Goliath

I don't have any loose wishbones or bushes at hand to measure.

Could someone measure the bushes, or wishbones for me? I'd just like to know the outside diameter of the bush and the size of the bolt hole (I'm guessing 12mm for m12 sheathed bolt?).

Thanks

I've bought some wishbone bushes from Febi, direct replacement for 3523.31 they have an outside diameter of 30mm, but the ones I removed from the wishbones on the car are 31mm?

Can anyone confirm if a genuine Peugeot rear bush is 30 or 31mm?

I've just turned up some dummy aluminium bushes. I'm sure it was closer to 31mm but will double check tomorrow.

I'm sure someone else had this problem about a month ago, the rear bushes just slide in with no effort whatsoever and a bit of play, which is obviously not ideal.

In the meantime I've ordered a set of Febi wishbones, can't afford to mess about with solving this mistery because summer is nearly over and the car goes into storage again.

I've gone for Febi because they are a supplier for big brands and price wise sit in the middle between the cheap stuff and original Peugeot items.

Either way it will be nice to know if OE bushes are really 31 or 30.
