Brake Pipe To Brake Hose Connection 1.9 Gti

My frankenstein of a 205 has thrown up another question.

 

I recently removed the Wilwood calipers that were fitted for a set of 1.9 Girling calipers.

 

The braided hoses in place were an odd length to accommodate the Wilwoods, so I thought it was as good a time as any to replace the hoses.

 

I picked up a set of HEL braided hoses. The male end of the new hose connects fine with the caliper, but the female end that connects to the brake pipe does not. It seems that the connector at the pipe end has been changed. (and in fact each side is different!)

 

What is the correct size/fitment? I have attached an image to show the drivers side.

thats part if the braided brake hose.

The brake pipe ends above the bracket you need to unscrew it then remove the end of the old hose off the bracket then your new hose will fit. Pull the metal spring clip off and all will become clear.
