Genuine Wishbone Bush Kits 3599.07

Im not 100% that theres not already a full thread bolt in there now as it was a bare subframe. Might explain the looseness of the front end so soon after fitting patent bones.

The motaquip bushes that I picked up in the past were Kleber iirc , bought another one off Ebay last night for £4.50 . As long as Peugeot still sell them individually its not a total disaster . I have never liked the look of the Powerflex replacement types , I would think its hard for them to be as firm as the originals with the inner and outer metal sleeves .

I have bought 309 wishbones ( not from main dealer ) that came with Kleber bushes so not all pattern parts are rubbish .

309 wishbones if sold from dealer today are over a grand a pair.

Was about to congratulate you on your purchase, before you mentioned pattern.

Nothing wrong with aftermarket supplied parts if chosen wisely.

Makes me laugh folk being brand snobs about car parts. Choose wisely kids, most expensive does not mean best.

Rather have the best parts than a bunch of pattern parts that last 5 minutes.

I would be a millionaire by now if I was given a pound for everytime somebody said the pattern part was no good any genuine items available.

Hang on a sec, weren't OE wishbones motaquip just in a expensive pug bag?

Kleber any good then? They seem very firm wiggling the bolts inside em, not much flex

Just out of interest I have just checked my 2 new Motaquip bushes and the ones fitted on my 3 spare wishbones . All the small bushes are marked Kleber Industrie while all the larger diameter ones are plain with only a couple of numbers on them , is this how they come if you buy the kit ?

The bushes in my kits are the same yes, wonder why the larger one has no name on it.

just a quick question; can you change these without a press?

They can be done if you have a decent man size vice.

Yes, that's correct. 2 x 3523.23 and 2 x 3523.31 for £51.38 then you need to get the nuts, bolts and washers but I'd get them from a bolt supplier.

I got a reply from Stew @ BBM, he is going to produce a kit but it wont be until October/November.

While picking up some nuts and bolts etc from Peugeot Harlow today I got them to check for availability of the bush set , they are NFP and were £34 I think . He checked the system and there is one set in France .

I fit the new bushes in a bench vice , I use a bit of soft pine to push them in because it deforms to the domed shape of the bush head , although I preform the dome in the wood with a big ball pein hammer .

Morning Guys,

Ive read over and tried at a few different dealers over here in Australia and also am unable to get these kits or seperate bushes. We also tried Ex France and also NLA.

Has anyone had any luck with these bushes of late?

Would someone be as kind to order me 4 sets of each and have them sent to OZ?

Cam
