Vin Decode Help Date Of Manufacteur

Hi any body help me with date of manufacture for my car.reason being the cat test,it's registered as a 93 but from what I have read the use date can de also judged as the date of manufacture if it's greater than 6 maths fro date of first registration considering the vehical may have been stored before being sold any comments?

you will find that mot station will have to match model and engine code with the data base on the gas analyser info supplied by vosa to determine weather your car is non cat test or cat test required. this is from manufactures data hope this helps

Just had a look on service box but can't seem to locate date of manufacture,any help would be appreciated ?
