Classic Car Show

Recommended Posts

I was in Stratford over the weekend and it happened to be the festival of motoring event which featured mainly classic cars. There were Jaguar E types, 60's Mustangs, old mercs, Porsches and ferraris etc.

I then stumbled across this red 1.6. The amount of attention it was getting was insane. Whenever anyone walked up to it I could hear mutterings of "1.6 or 1.9". I'm sure it's not the first time the 205 has been shown at this sort of event, but it was great to see.

Does anyone on here own it? I did hang around the car for some time to try and speak to the owner but they weren't around.......

I went to a classic car show yesterday in Dewsbury, and they had some amazing motors there, but not 1 205! Come to think of it I don't think there were any Peugeots at all. 2 very nice Escort Mexicos though, and some nice XR2s too.

There's a couple of guys with mexicos who live around my area. One really lairy yellow one. They look really good. Amazing how much they are worth now!

That pug looks lovely. Nice and red (not orange) like they should do! K reg too. I wonder if it has any rot :P

I don't think so!

It did have a few blemishes if I was being over critical but it did look very nice. Only 67K.

I think it was the one in that classic car mag about a year ago.
