Just ggtin the body ready for primer and I'm going to attempt to remove my windshield, but I've never done it before as was wondering if there was an easy way to do it as I smashed my minis one many Years ago when attempting it thanks

I did mine two weeks ago using the "2p" method as described by some people on this site. I gathered up a load of 2p's and started at one top corner, pulled back the seal (from the outside) and shoved in a 2p between the rubber and the edge of the glass, then moved down approx two inches and inserted another, I went all down the side, across the bottom and back up the opposite side. I found the seal at the top impossible to peel back as its a sunroof version and is very chunky.

Finally I simply "patted" the screen outwards from inside just a touch (beware or flying 2p's) and got hold of it from the outside and pulled it down from the top of the seal and away from the car.

The screen came away no trouble at all but be aware you may be picking 2p's up for quite some time! :-)

Hope this helps.

I found just pushing it from one corner normally does the trick, best bet is to heat up the seal before hand so its nice and pliable. It does need some force so an assistant is helpful.
