Buying Bearings

Measured my crank today and its all good so I'm after standard sized main bearings and big end bearings

 

where do people usually go to obtain these?

Local engine builders, cheaper than my motorfactor and anywhere ive found on the net.

A micrometer,unless there is something else people use

OK just checking, some folk think a vernier caliper is good enough. Didn't want you to waste money on the wrong bearings.

From memory around £25 for big ends and £30 for mains.
