Rear Bumper Buffer Help

Hello,

 

I seem to be missing one of my rear bumper buffers /spacers (see picture).

 

Can anyone tell me if they are really necessary? If so, are they also fitted to a base model?

 

They're no longer available from Peugeot.

that's not a part I recognise on a 205, where does it go?!

I have a squad them new in a bag but never fitted them.

 

Going by service box they seems to go at each end of the bumper

Hello,

 

It's a spacer that fits along the top edge of the rear bumper and keeps the bumper spaced from rear quarter panel.

 

Service box shows it in their picture but state that it's not available. Hopefully the fact that you don't recognise it means I don't need it.

 

There are two clear marks on the bumper where they fitted but I only have one:-(
